Carving a path out as we go
Across the lands frozen by moonlight,
An era of destruction and rebirth begins.

Jiyuu wo omoku kakagete
Michi naki michi wo erande
Mahiru yori mabushii nichibotsu wo koete



Shouldering freedom heavily,
We chose the path without a road,
And cross into the sunset more dazzling than even midday.

Yume wo kataru you ni toki no fune wa yuku
Sono yamiji no mukou ni atarashii yoake



As if narrating a dream, the ship of time moves on,
And beyond that dark road is a new dawn.

Bokura wa kitto kurayami no kaina kara umaretekita
Kanawanu koi wo suru you ni
Hikari e to samayotteku
Dokomademo hateshi no nai kono michi wo
Kaeru sube wa nai



We surely must have been born from the arms of darkness,
And as if suffering from unrequited love,
We wander towards the light,
While from this path that stretches on endlessly
There is no way to return.

Ikinuku koto ni tomadoi
Shi ni yuku koto ni obiete
Bokura no kokyuu ni wa kanashimi ga yadoru



Confused in our survival,
And in fear of death,
Our breaths are laden with sorrow.

Sakebi wa kodoku ni usete
Namida no shizuku wo susuri
Daremo ga hitorikiri kouya wo sasurau



Their cries fading in the solitude,
Sucking on tears,
Everyone roams about the wilderness alone.

Are wa tsuki no yume ka shiroku hikaru hana
Keburu oka no kanata kirameki temaneku



Those shining white flowers – are they the dreams of the moon?
From beyond the smouldering hill, they sparkle and beckon us on.

Mune ni hibiku yuukyuu no ongaku ni mimi wo sumase
Kaze ni madou suna no you ni
Setsuna e to kieusetemo
Dokomademo hateshi no nai kono michi wo
Kouya no mukou e



We clear our ears in the neverending music resounding in our hearts,
And even if we should be like grains of sand,
And disappear in the wind in an instant,
We will continue travelling on this endless path
To the other side of the wilderness.
